The Troop’s Committee inaugurated the eagle Sponsor recognition in 1966 the 4th Eagle Award Presentation. The purpose of the award. was to acknowledge individuals in the troop or community who had contributed to the scouting program and were an example of the Scout Oath and Law for the eagle Scout to emulate.
